You need to consider the future. Oil will be phased out in time. Before that happens the price will continue to climb. LP on the other hand is normally more costly than oil. A lot less btu's also. Oil around 138k and lp 96k per gallon.
Sizing is an issue. You need a heat loss. The guy that measured your radiation not only wasted his time he wasted your time. The amount of radiation in the home has NOTHING to do with the boiler size. The only reason to measure radiation is to determine outdoor reset water temps and to determine if a gas mod/con is a good idea. Do yourself a favor and get a heat loss done.
