First off, sorry if this question is in the wrong place. I have 15psi steam from Con-Ed, our local utility. This steam travels to a coil in an air handler where it is currently not controlled. I want to find an easy solution for control. Preferably some sort of electrical modulating valve that strokes dependent of room temp. I was thinking about a solonoid but the coil makes a lot of noise due to expansion. Do they have solonoids with bleed ports to keep steam flow at a low rate? Any ideas would be helpfull??? Thanks
