Assuming it is on a steam boiler system, that can be 'normal'. When the cold water feeds into the boiler, some sits between the Watts and the feed water valve. When the water in that line heats up by conduction, it expands, so some drops come out. If you don't want that to happen, you can put a capped expansion tube vertically on a tee in that line to take up the expansion.
