I had just installed a new peerless wbv-04 4 section cast iron boiler with the matching riello head. Right now I have a 5 gallon tankless coil in the boiler. I am looking at adding either a aqua booster storage tank or an indirect water heater. Now as far as I know they both have there pros and cons and this is what i found out so far
Aqua booter the tank has no coil, but requires a bronze cirulator. Also hookup is just the extended the pipes from the tankless coil to the aqua booster and back and then off the top connect to my hot water.
Indirect has a coil butcan be used with a regular circulator. Indirect also requires the hookup to be used as a second "zone" and also needs its own cold water supply. And basically cap the tankless coil in the boiler.
Which is the easier to hookup? Which system is cheaper? Which system is overall better? Any help, comments or ideas would greatly be appreciated.
