Thanks for the advice rbeck. What I have done so far is to lower the aquastat (from lower limit 180 to 150) and dial down the 1/2 psi gas valve. I think I may stop there. I understand adjusting the gas is not optimal. Just trying to reduce short cycling and costs till I can get a new unit.

Anyone think it's worth while to put split wrap on all the distribution copper in the crawl space?
