: I have a biasi direct vent boiler. The vent also draws air in as well as exhausts. When the outside temp gets really cold frost will plug the vent where the air is drawn in. The boiler will light but stop due to lack of oxygen. When you try again it will light but stop again just as you describe, go outside clean the frost off the vent and try again.
