Hello Gentlemen

I have been having alot of problems with our steam boiler for 10+ years.

We currently have a SLant/fin boiler and a Riello burner. The control box on the burner is constantly kicking out. It kicks out almost everyday and many times several times a day. Everydaye we hit the reset button and sometimes it fires up and sometimes not. Then we play around a little until it finally works. When we cant get it working we call the techician. We have replaced the control box already twice this year. We have had several technicians and none of them have been able to tell us why we are having problems. Some of the technicians say the slant/fin/riello combonation isnt good, some say the boiler is too small for the burner (but they cant get a smaller burner), some say the boiler is no good because it is the type of boiler which can be fueled by gas and oil (we use gas), and some dont say anything and these guys are probably the most honest becuase I dont think anyone knows for sure.

The building is a 100 years old, three stories and about 7000 square feet in total.

If anyone has some input , it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Greg
