I had a gentleman provide me with a quote for a new boiler and burner installation to replace a 20 year old Weil Mclain which is leaking. I was just wondering if anyone could give me an opinion on how good of a deal it is, I have already spoken to one of his references which was impressive, So he seems quite reputable.
Here is his quote:
$6000 for:
-Installation of one peerless WBV-03 WPCL packaged water oil boiler with one Beckett AFG burner and one Peerless partner 40 Gal indirect water heater
-4 new circulator pumps with Taco four zone prioritized control, check valves, Extrol tank, air scoop, air vent, backflow preventer and water feed combo.
-new vent pipe to chimney, all electrical wiring and controls at boiler, piping, isolation valves, old boiler removal and permits.
-3 year labor warranty!
