The boiler is in an open unfinished basement, that is damp and dirty all the time. Gas pressure in the manifold is 3.5 w.c. Does the gas pressure need adjustment higher or lower in the smartvalve?
What about a draft inducer, or dropping vermiculite around the chimney liner between it and the brick?
