I just located a Peerless MI-08 that is 5yo. The home is being remodeled and converted to HVAC system so owner is giving it to me. The problem I have is getting it out of his basement. My thoughts are to completely disassemble the boiler and remove it in sections. What is the best way to separate the push nipples on this boiler and would I be able to just put it back together or would I need to replace all of the push nipples? Trying to bring it out fully assembled will not work as the doorway is too narrow and I have to get it up the steps. Also at 600lbs trying to get it up the stairs and into the back of my van with one or two people would be quite dangerous. The only real moving equipment I have at my disposal is a simple appliance dolly.

Anyone have any other suggestions I haven't thought of, or recommendations on separating the boiler sections?
