: Some people have had luck pulling the vent and plugging the tapping. The steam valve is not a 100% shut off but the radiator must vent air to work. Stop the air from leaving and no steam can come in. This may not work if you are running high pressure. The steam pressure setting on the control should not be above 2 psi.

What would I use to plug the vent tapping?
