My new Burnham PVG5 boiler works great. To avoid having to re-lining the chimmney, it was vented out the side of our house. Unfortunately our neighbor (house is about 20 feet away) is complaining due to the loud exhaust noise from the end-pipe. We don't hear it on the inside of our house but it is definitely noisy on the outside. Our contractor originally installed a T shaped terminator venting the air up and down and changed that to a downward pointing terminator which had a slight effect on the noise level. Any further suggestions to reduce the noise levels? Does Burnham or another manufacturer offer an exhaust muffler/silencer?
