Either should last well beyond 20 years.
The higer efficiency hot-water boilers are condensing type. Weil-McLain makes them too.
You can estimate the gas savings from the efficiency ratings, and see if the difference in boiler cost makes sense. A condensing unit will be a bit more complicated.

: We are newbies with at a 1500 sq. ft. 1930's home and not alot of income. We plan to stay here 20 years and need a new boiler.
