Other cosiderations, e.g. differences in humidity and air exchange in the house when using electric vs oil vs gas boiler.
Natural gas is a good buy if you can get it. Electric boilers are available when you have decent rates; they're a lot like water heater elements in a small heater with additional controls for circulation. There are heat pump units that can transfer heat to the system as well, so you can use the electric boiler as the backup heat.
