Would it makes sense to wrap Reflectix on the pipes, then wrap over top of that with fiberglas pipe wrap?
By the way, our system was fixed and you of course were spot on... Weil-McLain recommended a bypass loop which our HVAC company piped in today, along with removing the superfluous controls which in effect had turned our CGa-6 into a hot run boiler.
