Replacing the gas valve did the trick. 20 minute job. Thanks for the help.


: 36E36-304. Looks like a straightforward job. I located one for $90.

: shows a control with a separate ignition sensor, which eliminated problems on many models since the sensor integrated in the igniter was dropped.

: With humility, I don't have a clue why WR made the 304 replace the 267 to consider it 'better'; but they may have something there.
