Low-water-volume, low-metal-mass boilers can have the problem when there is a delay in pumping rates to take the hot water out of the boiler. Find out if there are closed zone valves at the start. Low water flow can cause sizzling and banging. A minimum-flow bypass or loop-subloop system can eliminate the problem.
