Greetings - I have an 18 year old GlowCore gas boiler that was in the house when I purchased it. It has been nothing but trouble (I currently have no heat) and yesterday the repairman strongly suggested I consider a new boiler (he is not sure he can get the parts for the GlowCore boiler anymore and I have spend thousands of dollars in repairs over the last 4 years). I have a 1200 square foot house built in 1919 (alhthoug it does have many new windows and insulation). Where do I begin and what can I expect to spend? Much thanks for any advice. *the repairman seemed to like Weil-McLain boilers...
