: If you are concerned about failure, commercial units are required to have another high limit as well for the same worry, as blowing up a commercial boiler launches itself at more families at once. It is often strapped onto the outlet pipe.

IF the aquastate is proving, eh, less than ideal, is this your recommendation rather than try and re-mount the same one or even replace with new?
