Hello all,

New homeowner here...I have the Honeywell 8124 on my H.S. Tarm multi-fuel boiler which I'm starting to burn wood in for the winter. (We've been using our woodstove up until this weekend for heat in our house) I have three zones of heat and the two zones that I use the least work fine. That is...if I adjust the thermostat up above room temp., the little icon appears on the screen and the heat turns on. The zone in the main house (which is controlled by the 8124) is not off to a great start. The circulator pump does not run when the thermostat calls for heat. It only runs when the oil burner kicks in. Does this sound like something was wired incorrectly? What I have been doing is running the circulator manually by holding the contacts closed. I don't mind going to the basement and feeding the wood into the boiler but I don't want to spend my winter heating the house this way. Any suggestions (I'm going to call a professional soon, but I want to reduce his investigative time). Thanks.
