The Pex-Al-Pex seems pretty cheap at $0.043/ft. I guess the 200F@100psa rating goes up at lower pressures.

What is the likelihood that I end up needing at least one new radiator due to leaks? Will the leaks show up immediately or can there be trouble down the road?

What has to be done to clean the radiators out?

: Don't ask a GC; ask a plumbing company that has done conversions before. There are many old companies on LI that have done them.
++++ Do you happen to know of any names, otherwise I think I will start with the plumbing supply houses.

: An inexpensive boiler like a Paloma with a buffer tank can do the job while being oversized for water heat, then the heat need reduced.
++++ Paloma seems to just make water heaters unless I am missing something on their site. Why is it easier to reduce the heat with this unit?
