I also read about dual boilers in the same loop to save energy - is this not applicable in this case?
++ It is, depending on what the input required is. If the load can be handled by one residential boiler (below 250,000 btuh input) two boilers might be a wasted investment over one. Look at the figures. You aren't going to squeeze much more than the 84% most boilers are rated at when they leave the factory today.
