Preheat boiler return water from stack exhaust?

Just wondering, would it be feasible to replace a section of the boiler return line with copper tubing, and coil it around the stack in order to preheat the water returning to the boiler? Would this help efficiency? Be harmful? We got our Weil-McLain CGA-6 boiler installed and it seems to work well with our large cast-iron radiators. Good heat, not a lot of cycles. Thanks.
