I see, so the flames could be rolling out because of a clogged flu, or exchanger. I can easily clean the flu, but what do you recommend for the cleaning in the exchanger? I cleaned it the best I could with a wire brush.
I will pick up a manometer tomorrow.

You are probably right about the parts clerk, as he said the service guy was out on a call. It's actually a fairly large center that installs and repairs furnaces. They were willing to come out for a service call, but actually I hate paying someone for something that I know I could do my melf with a little research and willingness to roll my sleeves up.

Got burned too many times as a youngster by auto mechanics.
