: Have the tech give the output of the radiators at 150F, you probably have enough radiation for a condensing boiler, as it is more than necessary, especially if you insulated the house, which makes sense..

The house has insulation in the attic, and sections of the floor have insulation but we had to temporarily take some out to replace old wiring. The two quotes we got for condensing boilers were over $4K higher, putting us at S11-12K as opposed to $7.5K. The other two quoted us $12K for a standard boiler and did not recommend us getting a condensing boiler. Given we have a pretty mild climate here in Western North Carolina, with several months were you really don't need A/C or heat much, we went with the standard boiler since it seemed like it would take a long time to make up the difference.

Wondering though, would it be worthwhile to install one of the HeatManagers to our system? What do they cost?

Thanks!
