You should start by getting real costing data relative to gas ($/therm or ccf) and electricity ($/kWh).That should be easy enough as you already have gas and electric bills. Then convert the 2 figures to $/MBtu (Gas = $/therm /100 : Electric = $/kWh /3.413)so that you'll have an apples to apples comparison. Let us know what you come up with then you can start looking at system options.Be sure to use the final bill amount divided by the number of therms and/or kWh so as to account for fixed costs, distribution, taxes, etc.
