Thank you for the reply, the most the unit will be off for is a couple of weeks at a time. I will turn the unit off in the warm weather months and turn the gas off also. I want to save on propane, this unit is a hydronic unit which is all in one hot water for heat and heated domestic water. No sense of having the unit on in the warm weather months when I'm not there.If I leave it on it will heat hot water for no one to use. When I come to the cottage I'll turn on the unit/gas and let the water run for a few minutes.
