I have experinced this several times through the years. I find it only happens with solid state controls. One of the controls with a silid state boards is going bad. When de-energized and re-energized it works OK again for some time. If you can get the tech there while it is down, see where the voltage is lost. For example, if the poblem is pesent and you have voltage to teminals 5 & 6 on the EI contol and nothing out. The problem is the EI contol. Befoe replacing the contol where the voltage is lost power down and back up again to see if you get it back.
