Thanks ps. I understand this is voluntary and I appreciate your input, however, I am still looking for an answer to my question from home owners with the same issue. I believe this is an open forum where anyone is welcome to ask a question without being harrassed for asking it, especially by the "host." I have already taken all the appropriate steps and am very well informed on my situation. My question, to rephrase, is geared towards learning if a homeowner has had success dealing with Burnham. My installer has told me that yes, small claims court and just plain throwing a fit has yielded in positive results. I'm hoping to avoid both those options and was looking for an alternative. I now am beginning to understand that this is a very pro-heating-installer forum and not for homeowners. I'll take my inquiries elsewhere.
