I'm going to speak to his supervisor because I'm sure they want me to pay the $100 diagnostic fee for the visit - can you give me more details on what he should have looked at yesterday? The rep said he couldn't look at the gas valve because it's sealed. He lifted the covers off the t-stat things next to the boiler and said 'they're honeywell and this one looks newer than that' but didn't bring any tools in other than a flashlight. They are a reputable local company and I expected them to have things to connect to the unit or to lift the cover and look inside, but he didn't do any of that. Any info you can provide to help me talk with his supervisor about the call and having it redone the 'right way' (and what that would entail) would be very appreciated!

Sara
