Only a couple of States have regs regarding
the installation of direct vent boilers under
200,000 BTUH. Maryland has nothing to speak of, in addition they do not even regulate or license heating contractors. They tend to slough off a lot of responsiblity onto the local counties. In short they have a long way to go there.
