Thanks HeatPro. The bypass I was talking about is the '1-1/4" bypass' in figure 22 in the endurance installation manual. Is the bypass needed only because of the external circulator? It is important to know which pump the bypass will try to compensate because the installation location will depend on that.

At the end of page 14 of the the manual it does say that "The appliance incorporates its own circulating pump and bypass loop and is capable of providing flow through heating zones". Does it mean that its own bypass is already sufficient to "assures that no matter what zone is closed, The flow through the boiler is the same"?
