: I have an older american boiler that I had a beckett burner put into. Recently I smell fumes whenever the burner starts up. Is this somthing out of adjustment?

It might be nothing but it's the fumes you can't smell that can kill you. If you had a new heat exchanger, fan, air duct, or anything air-side done then maybe. I wouldn't think a new burner would have any odor but your life isn't worth guessing either. Have the company that installed your burner come take a look or call another HVAC professional ASAP.
