I have just moved into a house that has had it's thermostat and controls replaced twice in the last one year. Today i awoke to a 60 degree house, while the thermostate was set at 70.
There are two zones in the system, and the boiler supplies domestice hot water as well, with no tank. The domestic water is hot and has no problems, but the baseboard radiators are only warm at best. I have checked the circulators and they are both operating, or at least turning somewhat.
Is it possible that either there is a blockage in the loop, or that the vaines of the circulator are almost gone?(Taco 007-F3)
What would be the easiest way to determine the problem?
thanks
