I have a similar system....In addition mine has one faucet-like hose attachment device on each zone (above the zone valves) and had one auto vent top of the boiler itself, but no others. WHn I got a an airloch, I had to have a guy "pump" the system to force air locks around to purge the air out. Before he did it he added an air scoop and auto airvent to the expansion tank to hopefully prevent air buildup again.

If anyone else out there know how I could purge the air if it somehow comes back without the pump guy coming let me know.
