Are you shutting off the heat and closing
down the house? If you are in NEPA you
have to drain the water pipes, toilet tanks,
and J waste pipes. Or add an antifreeze in the
pipes.
If you have a hot water baseboard system for
heat it would be a good idea t have a non
freezing mixture in the pipes.
Hot water tanks can also freeze solid so
I would think it should be drained also.
You can probably ask the neighbors
what they do.
