I have an old oil burner that I have to replace. Hot water is already supplied by Takagi water heater. Since replacing old water tank with tagaki tankless heater, my gas bill is drastically reduced. Takagi informs me that in my jurisdiction, those tankless heaters are also approved for boiler use, and recommended that I install a separate one for heating. They recommended Takagi TK-20. I have a small one family house. Would that be OK to the tankless heater instead of boiler. is the takagi better than a conventional boiler?
