: This is a residencial steam boiler system (Utica PEG150C, SR 90K BTU/Hr). There is 30 feet of 1 1/4" diameter copper pipe that make up the wet return.

: If I add an additional 20 feet of 1 1/4" pipe to the wet return will that effect the preformance of the system?

No. Adding that large return pipe will not affect the performance. Getting steam to the room by adding large steam supply is the one to watch as that might overdraw the limits of the steam supplied from the boiler to make unpredictable performance.
