Hi here is some more information:

This is a residencial steam boiler system (Utica PEG150C, SR 90K BTU/Hr). There is 30 feet of 1 1/4" diameter copper pipe that make up the wet return.

If I add an additional 20 feet of 1 1/4" pipe to the wet return will that effect the preformance of the system?

Thanks, Gregg

: Your question is similar to will the straw break the camel's back, or how many feathers makes a pound?

: Facts are necessary to make a determination. How many angels dance on the head of a pin can be determined by committee; but distance that an unknown substance (unstated whether steam or water, the size of the piping, the output of the boiler - in other words - facts) can go, in an unobserved system is not possible to answer.

: Get back with some information and someone might know.
