I had a 45 gal idirect water tank installed with my new burner to replace my instant "hot water" coil.My oil guy also recomended it and I'm ever so thankful he did.I used to have very limited hot water and now it is endless. It also saves on oil and wear and tear on the burner, as it doesn't have to fire off and on as much.If given the choice overI would do it again in a heartbeat. In my opinion it's the way to go.
