Any guesses on how a gas-fired, tankless, whole-house unit would compare to a modern, oil-fired unit (tankless or otherwise), on an annual basis? We're putting about $2500 a year now into fuel oil and we keep the house pretty cool in winter - around 65F.
The Aquastar was to allow the shutting down of the current boiler during the summer, since there is currently no other hot water source. It's just taken me too long to get around to it.
