Check that the gauge is working; it is unusual for the pressure not to change from .5, especially as the pressuretrol has difficulty working with less than a 1 differential. If the system runs at .5 and the gauge drops back to zero when operating, it is an ideal condition.

The pressure should never be set at 15, but should be set at 2-1/2 (or less psig as possible) with a 1 differential (or less if possible.)
