You had a delayed ignition. When a nozzle is changed, if the tube the nozzle sits on is not completely filled with oil before it is replaced, an air bubble can stall the flame momentarily and then the burner can relight the fuel that is being sprayed as the bubble passes through. The nozzle tube usually clears of the bubbles within two weeks.
