In my Hot Water System I have a Taco Air Scoop with a schraeder (bicycle valve) valve with a cap on the top. I recently purged and refilled the system. I have bled the system and have left the cap loose on the top of the stem, and every other day or so I press the valve and it releases air.
My question is related to the valve and cap. Should it permanently be left loose? If it is left loose, should I always expect the system to have some air in it? Where is the air getting in from?
