My steam heat shuts off at 13 pounds of pressure on the guage. It stays off until the pressure drops slightly (1 pound or less) and then comes back on again providing the thermostat is still calling. I am concerned that by only letting the pressure drop a pound before coming back on that I am not running the system efficiently. what should the Differential and Cut In be set at? Right now, Cut In is approx 1.0 and Differential (dial setting) is set at just under 2.
