Thanks again. One more question - I calculated my heat loss via your flash estimator and using a vendor's free cd. They came back at 46K & 41K, and I feel confident using the parameters given and in my own home data (sq.ft., insulation). However, I have an uneasy feeling these loads may be low. I intend to have all proposals supply a written load analysis - I just wonder if I missed something. It comes out to about 29MBTU/hr/sq.ft. - yet it is a 1600 sq ft, 64 yr old cape with little wall insulation and leaky replacement windows. I know you aren't mind readers - any thing I should re-focus on?
