I have a Worcester combi 9.24 about 13 years old. Firstly, what is the recommended pressure for the system? I ran ours at 1.0 bar all last winter but we hade very poor heating upstairs. Recently I have been increasing the pressure to 2.0 to 3.0 bar which gives better heat distribution but the pressure always drops back to around 1.0 after several days.

Does this mean there is a leak in the system or is there something within the boiler reducing the pressure, possibly too much?

Appreciate any advice as I would rather not buy a new boiler at present!

Thanks,

Neil.
