I moved into my house 2 years ago. It was built in 1982 and I believe the Peerless furnace to be original. I did some pipe work recently and had to remove some water to solder the pipes. There is no model number on boiler so I can't find any mauals. There is a temperature guage and a water psi gauge on the bioler. What should these be set at. When I let water into the system it went up to 40 psi and dumped so I know that is too high. I let it run for a while and it got to 180 degrees.... is that too high? What is the best psi for my boiler. Thanks in advance.
