Thanks for that, I've passed the info on to a plumber friend of mine who's checked it out, but it doesn't seem to be that.
He's also changed a thermostat, but no difference.
He's been talking to other plumbers who think it may be something to do with the pressure bag/diaphram(?) in the cylinder not having enough pressure. (ther's a little bicycle type valve on it)but he needs a manual to check out settings, service instructions etc, but I can't find mine, and the Bosch worcester website doesn't show any.
Anyone help?
The boiler is a Worcester Bosch 240, about 8 years old.
