the thermostat do that ? I installed the thermostat myself. It's a aube digital thermostat and I think that what it does is simply turn on the boiler burner when the temp dropped and turn it off when it reached the desired degree no ?

Before there was a honeywell round thermostat installed, could this thermostat do more than turn on-off the burners ?

Do I need to bother, is it more energy efficient to run the water less hot when the outside temp is not so cold altough the burners might burn longer than if they were set to a higher degree ?
